Being gluten free doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the good stuff! Here’s a recipe for gorgeous gluten free scones. Send your snaps if you have any success! Ingredients: 250g Gluten free self-raising flour 1tsp Gluten free baking powder 50g #Kerrygold #Grassfed #Butter 50g Unrefined golden caster sugar 1 Egg (free range) medium 125ml Milk (whole) Instructions: 1) Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan, gas mark 6) 2) Place the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs, then stir in the sugar. 3) Lightly beat together the egg and milk. Add this to the flour mixture and stir to form a soft dough. 4) Turn the mixture onto a very lightly dusted work surface knead into a circle about 3-4cm thick. Using a round cutter, cut the dough into 8-9 scones. 5) Place the scones on a baking tray and out into the centre of a preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes. Remove when golden in colour.
